Here are some examples of recent cakes. Many are quite traditional but I've taken them and added a contemporary twist using rolled fondant, handcrafted flowers, and unique shapes and ornamentations. This unique cake was a layer of vanilla soaked with Grand Marnier, filled with strawberries, and a layer of chocolate soaked with Frangelico Hazelnut liquer filled with a chocolate cream.
